MORE ABOUT PRINCESS TITUS

Princess-Titus-10-Sm

On July 4th, 2010, she lost her 16 year old son Anthony Titus to gun violence. This traumatic experience increased her faith and she vowed, in spirit, to allow the trauma to transform her and her community for the better. Studying the community and engaging with people, you can catch her asking parents if she can ask their children a question before she inquires, “do you like your teacher?”, while  young cashiers at the mall usually get the question, “you like your mom?” She is the type of person who is always gathering the real story from the people, and she has a type of energy that usually makes people open up to her deeply even in a transactional moment.

She enjoys writing for the Midway Monitor, studying African History, and nutrition.    She is  often asked to keynote or teach the TSEW lessons at conferences.
